An educational institution who prides themselves in providing excellent services seeks a Finance Officer to join their finance team based in Pretoria East.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full accounting function for a variety of clients and given the opportunity for exposure to various industries. Duties include, but not limited to compilation of  financial statement; and preparation and submission of income tax, VAT, payroll and UIF submissions.

Education:

Degree / Diploma in Finance / any relevant certificate

Skills & Experience:

3 to 4 years'' experience within a financial or administrative accounting role

Pastel accounting experience is essential

Experience with payroll and collection of accounts

Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

The ability to analyse financial information efficiently and accurately

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Communicate effectively in English and at least one other South African language
