POSITION INFO:

I am partnering with a dynamic, fast growing entrepreneurial company operating within the petroleum industry. They are a group comprising various start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures. Seeking a FM/GM to be the 2IC to the CEO, they must be able to thrive in a vibrant, family-like company culture with a strong work ethic and the drive to go above and beyond. Interpersonally, the suitable candidate should have excellent communication skills, trustworthiness, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks
Address issues related to customer statements, supplies, and other operational matters
Work closely with the finance and other teams for smooth financial operations
Confidently interact with senior stakeholders and hold your own in discussions
Assist with Payroll
Maintain Fix Asset Registry
Submit monthly VAT returns
Company secretary duties
Prepare and review monthly management accounts

Requirements:

Accounting or Finance Degree
Min of 5 years' experience in an operational financial management capacity
Previous exposure to business accounting and financial strategy is essential
