POSITION INFO:
Requirements
At least a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting/Finance)
Three to five years’ financial accounting experience - Management Level
Post-articles experience would be advantageous
Experience with computerised accounting systems - Pastel
Duties
Management of Fixed Assets Register
Financial management and administration
Preparation of management reports on all aspects of financial management
Participation in and preparation for audits
Financial reporting
Valuations and cost benefit analyses
Monthly preparation of Management accounts
Analyse financial reports and prepare variance explanations.
Monthly preparation and distribution of financial performance reports to different units
Preparation of annual financial statements and supporting
Provide support in preparation and compiling of Audit schedules required by AG.
Prepare draft responses to AG audit queries for review by FM on assets.
Prepare RFI’S for AG
