POSITION INFO:

SA’s #1 Property Investment company is looking for a Financial Manager CA(SA) Consultant to join their growing team. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Daily running of the Chartered Accountants to ensure proper functioning of all services such as trust accounting, income tax, VAT, and clients’ business accounting
• Reviewing and signing off on client financial statements prepared by accountants
• Ensure proper functioning of the accounting team.
• Manage client portfolios and maintain sound client relationships
• Providing guidance to accountants on more intricate tax and accounting queries
• Accurate financial record-keeping
• Timely submission of all deliverables
• Providing investors with guidance, by implementing trusts as well as corporate and commercial structures, to optimise tax benefits, wealth creation and risk mitigation
• Preparation of annual financial statements according to IFRS for SME’s
• Any other output that may be reasonably required from this role

Requirements:

• CA(SA) non-negotiable, registered with SAICA
• Relevant tax qualification (Advantageous)
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel skills
• CaseWare & Xero knowledge
• Experience in reviewing and signing of on financial statements
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong ability to solve problems
• Advanced knowledge on taxation laws and practical implementation thereof
• Comes from a practice environment and sees themselves staying in that environment
