SUMMARY:
CA(SA) with minimum 5 years’ financial management experience in the Financial Services Industry, required to manage the Finance Department and work closely with CFO and other Financial Managers in the division.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CA(SA) with minimum 5 years’ financial management experience in the Financial Services Industry, required to manage the Finance Department and work closely with CFO and other Financial Managers in the division.

 

Minimum requirements:

  • CA(SA) qualification essential
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant financial management with the Financial Services Industry essential

 

Responsibilities:

  • Improve efficiency of the management reporting function
  • Identify unusual trends/anomalies that require further analysis/explanation
  • Examine financial information for accuracy
  • Monthly income statement and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist Regional Managers with financial information
  • Review and distribution of commission statements
  • Audit packs completion and submission
  • Annual financial statements
  • Manage financial and business risk
  • Assist staff to prepare management financial information
  • Mentor junior staff to assist with preparing annual financial statement and year end audit
