SUMMARY:
Our client an financial services company based in Pretoria has an opportunity available for a Financial Manager to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification required:

Bcom Accounting / Btech accounting / Accounting Diploma + relevant experience

Experience required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Accountant / Finance Manager position
Minimum of 2 year’s experience preparing annual financial statements
Experience with foreign currencies would be advantageous
Experience on SAGE would be advantageous
Sound knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, Tax and Companies Act

Job description:

Lead a team of 3 accountants
Oversee and review preparation of all monthly reconciliations
Contribute and oversee production of financial accounts and management reports
Maintain strong internal controls
Oversee and review preparation of tax-related reports including tax returns and VAT reports
Working knowledge of payroll processing
Preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Preparation of Annual Financial Statements for all companies in the group and managing the external audits
Make appropriate financial recommendations to management
