JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role will be to assist top management with:

• Oversee the accounting activities to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports to Top management

• Ensure compliance with regulations

• Performance of reconciliations between statements and 3rd party reports.

• Performance of ad hoc investigations and reports when requested.

• Preparation of monthly journals.

• Preparation of management statements.

• Be a leader and take control of the accounting function

Education:

• BCom Hons in finance or accounting

• Articles experience would be an advantage

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• At least 10 years experience within a management role

• Software – Xero accounting or similar cloud accounting experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is non-negotiable, strong system and IT knowledge required

• Technically strong with IFRS Standards

• Ability to work under pressure towards tight deadlines and driven by profit

• Entrepreneurial, passionate, and opportunistic Day to day activities

Package and Remuneration: Market Related, dependent on experience

• Willing to assist with processing of accounting record
