Overview:
Our client is on the hunt for an experienced Financial Manager. A result-driven and confident financial manager to manage and improve the organization's financial performance and direct their accounting operations. Duties for the financial manager will include managing accounting records, evaluating, and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analysing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
 
With your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a financial Manager, you will aid the organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.
 
You should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and have excellent leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-changing environment. The noteworthy individual should streamline their accounting functions and operations, provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on business finance issues, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial reports.
  • Analysing financial data.
  • Monitoring internal controls.
  • Overseeing and preparing income statements.
  • Participating in budgeting processes.
  • Managing financial transactions.
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
  • Developing plans for financial growth and recommendations to the exec team.
  • Evaluating and managing risk.
  • Coordinating audit processes
  • Group Reporting
As financial Manager of the business, you will be reporting into the Head of Finance, as well as work closely with the UK team in ensuring accurate reporting
  • Overhead and expense management for the business
  • Analysing past results, performing variance analysis; identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
  • Ability to streamline functions and passion for learning and growth
  • Month-end reporting
  • Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
  • Detail orientated & meticulous
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Group reporting
  • Deputy to the head of finance for South Africa
  • Able to meet deadlines

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of Business Finance / Reporting
  • CIMA/CA/Finance related degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Analytical Skills
  • Strong Leadership Qualities
  • Proven experience in financial management
  • Sound Knowledge of accounting fundamentals
  • Self-starter
  • Problem Solver
