SUMMARY:
Are you a qualified CA(SA) or AGA(SA) looking for your first opportunity to manage a team outside of audit? This role is suited for a dynamic individual who demonstrates strong leadership abilities and would like to form part of a “can do” culture.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Implementing and enforcement of good corporate governance and internal control environment

Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Management and development of reporting staff members

Monthly checking of employees and employee plan

Weekly audit of wages and hours

Maintenance of the asset registers

Monitoring of assets

Monthly depreciation

Vendor checking

Credit applications and limits

Monthly reconciliations and payments

Reconciliation of loan accounts

Preparation of monthly journals to comply with IFRS accounting standards

Monthly General Ledger scrutinization

Review of monthly management packs

Preparation of audit files for external audit

Preparation of IFRS financial statements of purposes of external audit

Preparation of information for Board packs

Preparation and assistance with budget drafting

Preparation of cash flow forecasting on a regular basis

Financial modelling

Monthly bank reconciliations

Monthly reporting on progress on BBBEE

 

Skills & Experience:

Advanced excel

Intellectual curiosity

Ability to multitask and manage priorities

 

Qualification:

CA(SA) OR AGA(SA) non-negotiable; can be eligible to register
