Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
A large national organisation requires the expertise of a Financial Manager with a B.Comm or similar tertiary qualification and at least 5 years' experience.  Management background combined with Sage systems exposure will be ideal.

POSITION INFO:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The person in the company invested with the responsibility for ensuring that certain month end figures, stock values and bank accounts are reconciled and relevant costings and entries have been completed.

• Balance sheet Reconciliations
• Cashflow, banking and cash control
• HO submissions
• Costings on sales sheets, settlement entries and reconciliations
• Release of all Debit & Credit notes after authorisation

• Monthly Sage integration journals, recurring journals, correction journals
• IFRS16 & IFRS9 ECL calculations
• Sage fixed asset & depreciation submission
• Franchise fee calculation
• Rental variance calculation
• Lease modification journals
• Profit Estimates
• Monthly Onestream submission month end
• Monthly Onestream forecast to year end
• Half year & full year Onestream submissions – tax, impairment, risk
• Intercompany calculations and confirmations
• Stock provision calculation and ageing
• Stock Variations
• Make necessary adjustments in Sage for stock returns
• Reconcile refurb stock – costing, adding and reporting
• Dem list review
• Charging of divisions for all expenses and refurb costs
• Internal management packs linked to budget
• MPP H1 & COPSPEC claims, follow up and credits
• Reconcile physical bank statement with Sage cash book and make necessary adjustments, bi- monthly cashflow status to H/O, interbank cash transfers, maintain staff banking profiles
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and justify
• Sage sales reconciliation
• Margin Analysis
• Advertising claims
• RACM compliance
• Monthly vat submission reconciliation to input & output
• Provisional tax computations, review, submission & payments – Bi Annual
• Onesource tax submissions
• IT14 submissions, recon – IT14SD submissions
• Internal, external audits and intercompany accountant swaps
• AFS – calculate, check, submit, recon to Onestream
• BBEEE – monthly online submissions, yearly audit
• Budget calculations, internal and HO and submission
• Yearly 3 year forecast Onestream
• To carry on any other assignments as and when requested to do so by manger.
• Supervise and assist Accounts Assistant/ Creditors.
