SUMMARY:
CBI is looking for a Financial Manager that will be responsible for commercial and financial management for our Smart Energy Management business unit.

POSITION INFO:

Main Responsibilities:

Manage internal project and ongoing operational budgets
Manage invoicing and payments for CBI SEM contractors and suppliers
Manage billing information processing for sales invoicing through automated accounting processes for CBI SEM customers
Provide financial information as required by CBI and Reunert
Ensure the financial rules of CBI / Reunert are followed
Complete the preparation of financial reports summarising and estimating SEM''s financial position; income statement, balance sheet and analyses of future earnings and income
Prepare tax data for integration with CBI accounts/reporting for timely filing of company tax
Prepare and adjust finance journal entries as required
Managing accounts payable and receivable activities for run-rate business activity
Support the annual financial audit processes through the preparation of standard reports as well as other data as requested.
Reconcile monthly general ledger balance, invoices and credit card statements
Assist in setting and managing budgets
Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues

Minimum Requirements

6+ years in accounts/finance in a corporate environment
BComm or BAcct or similar tertiary qualification, CIMA highly advantageous
Previous experience working with commonly-used ERP systems
Previous experience w Sage X3 advantageous.
