Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Cape Town is recruiting for a Financial Manager. The ideal candidate will need to have 5 years & more experience preferably in a Logistics, Production or Warehouse Industry. The role will oversea the Group's financial health on a National basis.

POSITION INFO:

The position is CAPE Town based and to apply you need at least 5 years experience in a Logistics, Production or Warehouse Industry and a BComm in Accounting

• Responsible to oversea the Financial Health on a National Basis
• Generate Financial Reports & statistics
• Manage & report on Operational Financial performance and the Companies budget
• Operate within the Corporate Framework, set goals and meet the targets
• Liaison with auditors to ensure corporate governance
• Be able to transition between strategic, tactical and operational decision making.
• Interact with staff in various branches
• Implementing financial discipline and internal controls
• Defining, implementing and managing procurement process
• Be able to step into a project manager role to manage different projects according to best practices and ensure that they meet the financial operational requirements
