Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Wadeville is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their dynamic team on a 5 month contract basis.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bcom Accounting
• Sound IFRS knowledge
• Accounting systems: Drive, Pastel and Hyperion will be advantageous
• Experience in an accounting role will be advantageous
• MS Excel,Accounting system experience

ey Responsibiities:

To provide finance support to relevant financial related transactions accurately and timely through the execution of predefined work objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures. Review of monthly financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness, analysing, investigating and explaining variances

• Preparation and submission of monthly flash to Group Head Office
• Monthly tax calculation of all reporting trial balances
• Preparation and submission of monthly reporting packs including budget and forecast packs
• Monthly VAT reconciliations
• Monthly BEE preparation and submission
• Processing of bank sweeps for various bank accounts
• Processing of group intercompany journals via loan accounts (including debtors and creditors settlement via loan account)
• Responsible for monthly interest calculation and processing of all intergroup loans
• Processing of debtor receipts and sending out monthly statements to debtors (minimal)
• Daily Cash Flow Reporting to IT2Net & Processing
• Cash Forecast preparation when required
• Responsible for all staff related expenses and submission to payroll for salary inputs
• Responsible for fuel sustainability reporting and vehicle benefit recon
• Provide supporting documents to auditors
• Yearly tax pack completion
• Assistance with processing of journal entries
• Sign off and check creditors recons and assist Creditors clerks with any     queries
• Monthly balance sheet recon preparation of certain balance sheet accounts
• Any ad hoc items where assistance may be required
