Well established Company based in Woodmead, specialists in the telecommunications industry, requires a Financial Manager, to join their formidable team.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Relevant Degree (B.Comm / B.Compt)
• Completed Articles
• Clean Credit & Criminal record
• Pastel Partner / Evolution - Not negotiable
• Advanced Excel - Not negotiable
• Must sign company’s confidentiality agreement
• Minimum of 2 years in similar management role
• Experience in the telecommunications industry will be advantageous
Purpose & Duties
Manage stock on the sale of consumables / stock
Accurate monthly reporting on financial performance on multiple companies
Manage financial team for multiple companies
Maintaining of accurate financial records in Sage Evolution daily
Manage subordinates
Yearly budgets
Yearly Audits
Yearly BEE Audit
Analyse data
Planning and forecasting of stock

Monthly payroll reconciliation on Provident Fund and Medical aid
Sales, Stock and cashbook reconciliations, reporting & analysis
Client and vendor payment approvals and allocations, efficiently resolving queries
Customer collections including the control of any automated collection system such as the bank’s ACB module.
Banking status and reconciliations.
Ensuring SARS, statutory documents, bank and other documentation required is completed in order to efficiently run the businesses (e.g. Bank guarantees and annual letter of compliances)
Resolving legacy queries.
Budget and expense planning and reconciliations.
Controlling and verifying of GP margins of all Companies
Journal entries and reconciliations.
General ledger recons and fixed asset control.
Creating and processing of purchase orders, stock receipts, picking slips, invoices, returns and other documents required.
Electronic banking & Database administration
Policies and procedures administration, review and implementation.
Risk analysis and control.
Trial balance and management accounts reporting.
Statutory returns reconciled and submitted.
SARS E-filing control and maintenance.
Ensure data integrity of the company’s accounting system.
Analysis of fuel billing.
Calculation of rebates, discounts, commissions
Other Ad-hoc duties pertaining to this position might be added.
Cashbook experience
Full debtors’, creditors’, bookkeeping and financial management functions
Should have knowledge of ethical accounting practices and ensure they are adhered to

Salary: R27 000 to R30 000 CTC
