JOB DESCRIPTION:

OVERSEAS CREDITORS
Kempton Park
Looking for recent graduate in Finance or someone junior that wants to gain experience as well, someone that is fresh in their work history, with minimum 1 year experience in Finance.

• Create foreign purchase orders

• Opening shipments on Syspro

• Receiving shipments on Syspro

• Shipments – includes bill of ladings, clearing instructions to shipping agents and supplier invoices

• FEC’s – bank trading

• Shipments receipting & costing timeously

• All LCT’s to be processed timeously

• Preparing payments to overseas suppliers

• Updating overseas creditors schedule/indent status report daily

• Creating and maintaining overseas supplier accounts

• Maintaining beneficiaries on the banking platform

• Requesting credit notes timeously

LOCAL CREDITORS

• Ensure documentation is received from the receiving department on a daily basis

• Check invoices and follow up on price and quantity queries

• Match and file documents in an orderly manner from each supplier

• Reconcile suppliers’ statement to creditors recon statement

• Emailing remittance advices to suppliers

• Post local COD creditors invoices on Syspro

• Prepare COD , Discount Schedule, Create purchase orders for Non-Stock Coded items/orders

• Maintain and Update the Supplier Master File

• Maintain and Update the Sustainability Report

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Finance qualification

• A high level of computer literacy, particularly all Microsoft Office packages

• A Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ Finance/Shipping experience

• Financial Training and Syspro experience (Advantageous
