POSITION INFO:

Financial Controllers

Innovative bank seeks qualified CA’s. Pivotal roles to prepare Financial Statements, Mgt Accounts, Consolidations, IFRS plus other key duties. Exciting career opportunity to join growing business units. Great culture.

Main Duties:

Provide input into preparation of Financial Statements, plus Management Accounts.
Be instrumental in ensuring compliance with statutory and financial regulations.
Calculate Taxation and prepare VAT returns.
Compile financial reports and analyse financials.
Utilise good reporting and journal systems.
Prepare accurate Consolidations plus Budgets (actuals and Forecast).
Liaise with Audit teams and Exco to ensure fin. statements are accurate and controls are in place.
Drive changes in accounting standards, regulatory standards, systems, etc, where necessary.
Ensure all accounts are correctly reconciled and substantiated.
Provide input to the business to launch new products and generate new business.
Be involved in pricing plus systems, accounting, controls etc for new products etc.
Process journals plus prepare and post consolidations.
Other key responsibilities, to be discussed in interview stage.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)).
3 to 8 years exp as a Financial Controller.
Experience in Bus/Comm banking or CIB or Asset Finance or relevant sectors.
