Financial Controller (must have CIMA)

Responsibilities:
1) Manage Master data on ERP
- Manage Material Register, Create/Maintain Materials on ERP including BOMS
- Manage MRP and
-Costing/ABC Master data on ERP
- Regular reviews on BOMs including pricing of materials and pricing to customers
2) Cost Control for the Factory
- Review requisitions, PO’s and track cost for the whole site
- Act as Finance Business Partner to the GM in cost control and reporting
- Ensure spending does not exceed income from invoicing
3) Manage Costing of Materials
- Half Yearly review and update of Startup & Consumable material prices on ERP
- Yearly review and update Activity Based Costing (ABC) standards on ERP. (workcentres, rate routings, yield, runtime standards)
- Assist with New product development (NPD) process regarding costing related issues
4) Facilitate Site MRP and S&OP process
- Ensure all capturing of Sales Orders, Open POs, GRNs, Job Closure & Other Master data complete before running MRP on ERP
- Bi-Weekly: Manage and Review MRP list, whereafter request for approval to order and collaborate with buyer to procure
- Assist Finance team in monthly S&OP Process
- Monitor/Reduce Obsolescence Inventory; Optimize start-up inventory levels
5) Reporting and Variance Analysis
- Monthly management report
- Monthly variances and yield analysis and update standards where needed
- Review/Approve Job Closures and Post Material/Yield Variances on ERP
- Assist with savings and capex tracking reporting
6) Assist Quality Department (QA) and Finance Team with Standard Operating procedure (SOP)
- Assist Supply Chain team with periodic review of internal procedures and controls
- Review, maintain and action where needed all financial & -supply chain chain related SOPs and controls
- Give training and update training register where needed
7) Daily on-site activities
- Attend daily Production meetings to assist production team
- Attend weekly Management meetings to assist supply chain team
- Attend weekly Change Control meetings to assist quality team
- Attend monthly Finance meetings to assist group finance team
- Daily onsite assistance to departmental managers when needed
8) Manage Procurement to Payment cycle at Site
- Manage Non-Stock and Stock Procurement Requisition/PO process.
- Review, allocate and approve requisitions
- Manage Creditors Clerk on site - Manage documentation process from Requisition, PO, Delivery note, GRN, Inv, Creditors Statement/Recon
 -Filing steps.
- Reconcile creditors statement vs ERP statement and prepare payment advise
- Manage Petty Cash process.
9) Month End closing and General Ledger Trial Balance
- Monitor/Assist supply chain team with all month end closing procedures.
- Review General Ledger trial balance and do journals where needed to correct allocations and provisions
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and action reconciled items where needed
- Manage provision and accrual accounts
- Assist finance team with all statutory and regulatory reporting/submissions
9) Yearly Budgets, Profit Forecasts/Audits
- Facilitate and assist supply chain team to prepare yearly budgets / profit forecasts
- Ensure costing and standards balance back to approved budget expenses and standards
- Facilitate and assist external auditors during yearly audit process
- Do periodic internal audits of processes and controls  

Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum BCom or equivalent. CIMA preferred
- At least three years experience in manufacturing environment
- Total of 5+ years experience
