Financial Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client in Soweto is looking to employ a Financial Controller for their Financial Services operation.

POSITION INFO:

This role is to enable the Company in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implement proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets and controlling the financial operations of the Company. This position is open to all suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

Main Responsibilities 

All reporting required in terms of the each area of the business in compliance with good business practice

Weekly reports of unpaid/ default transactions

Reconciliation of payments received and made

Follow up on outstanding payments – all methods

Submit monthly report (high level) on all finance activity internal perspective

Liaison with departments to obtain source documents and to ensure payments

Claims report recon and balancing

Fleet schedules and maintenance

Co-ordinating Audit procedure

Participating in the budget process

Analysing and Managing risk

Monitoring internal controls

Processing Customers on Sage Accounting

Processing Suppliers on Sage Accounting

Import and action Bank Accounts (7)

Vat Reports

Budgets/ Costing / Analysis / Cash Flows

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification

Stable work record

Proven experience in finance management

Sound knowledge of Accounting fundamentals

Excellent interpersonal skills

Good communication skills (Written and verbal)

Proficiency in Sage Accounting software

Compliance orientated

Good Analytical Skills

Salary is R20 –----- CTC per month.
