Financial Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client within the Telecommunications industry is currently seeking a dynamic and influential Financial Controller to join their ever growing team.

POSITION INFO:

The Financial Officer Senior will play a key role in establishing a high-performance accounts team.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
• Expense control/reporting
• Debtors controls and “Days Receivable”
• Creditor controls and “Days Payable”
• Payroll control accounts and queries
• Bank control accounts
• Journals, provisions and adjustments
• Assist General Manager with information, budgeting and reporting
• Assist Regional Financial Manager with management accounts
• Assist Head Office with account queries
• Assist with rollout of new systems and accounting processes, audit requests and queries

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
• Ability to work in a team
• Result driven
• Dead-line oriented
• Ownership, responsibility and confidentiality
• Creating strong working relationships at all levels of business
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Strong Excel skills
• NetSuite experience will be an advantage
• Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience (Telecommunication/IT space)

Qualification:
• A degree in financial accounting (SAIPA)
• Completed 3 years of SAIPA articles
