An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Controller to join a fast-paced, high-profile media organisation based in Sandton. This role is central to the company’s financial operations and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a business at the forefront of broadcast and digital media.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, audit preparation, and cash flow management. The role demands a strong grasp of IFRS, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Financial Reporting & Analysis – Strong experience in preparing monthly management accounts, board packs, and variance analysis.
IFRS & Compliance – Solid understanding of IFRS and ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management – Proven ability to manage daily cash flow, banking activities, and financial planning.
Tax & Audit Preparation – Hands-on experience with VAT submissions, tax compliance, and audit readiness.
Systems & Process Improvement – Skilled in identifying efficiencies, with Accpac experience preferred.

Qualifications & skills:

BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related field – Essential
Professional certifications (e.g. CA(SA) or CIMA) – Advantageous but not explicitly required.
