Financial Assistant / Bookkeeper - Montague Gardens - R10,000-R15,000 per month

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial Assistant / Bookkeeper - Montague Gardens - R10,000-R15,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
Assistance with processing of all Journal Entries for the Management Accounts
Preparation of the monthly customer rebate file
Updating the Management Account template files
Assisting the Financial Manager with ad hoc duties and requests
Processing of Supplier invoices
Preparation of monthly supplier reconciliations for review
Updating and maintaining the container optimization spreadsheet
Updating and maintaining the container cost spreadsheets
Capturing of container stock PO’s
Sending out of weekly reports for management review (including Stock & Creditors, Sales & GP)
Monthly excel spreadsheet reports
Filing of all paperwork processed
Other duties as and when required.

Requirements:

Must be proficient in the MS Office suit
Worked on Pastel or similar accounting package
Able to work well in a team
Can work independently
Works well in a deadline driven environment
Works well under pressure
Can work late/weekends when required.
