Our client, a market leader in the field of industrial electrical installations, commissioning and maintenance, seeks to employ a competent and efficient Financial Assistant at their operation in Durban.

Please note that due to our clientâ€™s community upliftment policies, we will be giving preference to candidates currently residing in the Durban South and surrounding areas.

Essential criteria to meet in order to be considered:

You must have Matric, with a financial certification or qualification, coupled with 3+ years experience in general accounting, cost allocations, debtors, creditors, processing VAT, reconciling cash book and petty cash, as well as journal entries
In addition, you will have a good understanding and have previously assisted with stock adjustments, fleet expense management (insurance, fuel recons and fines, etc) and monthly reporting.
You will have strong numeracy and administrative skills, for which an assessment will be conducted.
You must have your own, reliable vehicle and be willing to travel across South Africa to sites where necessary
