Financial Analyst role available in a multinational company within the Financial Services sector for a CA(SA)

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Our client forms part of a multinational group that operates within the Financial Services and Corporate Finance sector. They have a footprint in over 20 countries which includes the greater Africa region. They currently have a vacancy available for a Financial Analyst which would be a hybrid role that would be responsible for Investment Analysis and Investor Relations. They are ideally seeking the skills of a Newly Qualified CA(SA) or up to 1 years’ post articles experience and the successful incumbent must have audited the Banking & Corporate Finance sector.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Valuations
• Due Diligence
• Quarterly Investment Fund Reports
• Investor Rebates Reports
• Investor Relations (Clients & Stakeholders)
• Micro & Macro Environmental Analysis
• Calculation of Variances & Trends
• Analyse potential Investments and Commercial Deals
• Client Profitability
• Financial Reporting
• Sell Side Analysis of a portfolio
• Preparing IMs and Credit Papers for current and new transactions
• Performing on site Due Dilligence for new clients
• Monitoring Solvency and Liquidity reports for existing clients
• Adhoc

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
• Min 0-1 years’ post article experience
• Must be from a financial services background or audit/consult various financial service clients, specifically from Banking and Corporate Finance
• Studying towards CFA is highly advantageous

Skills:

• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to negotiate deals and interact with clients and stakeholders
