Our client in Financial services based in Rondebosch Capetown requires a Settlement liasion officer to join their team .

Minimum Requirements:

Matric, relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
Must Be ITC and Criminal Clear

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum 5-years’ experience in administration or a similar position

Specific Skills (Technical):

Minimum 5 years in Financial Administrator or similar position.
Excel proficient at an Intermediate to Advanced level
Working experience with online banking sites.
Experience in working in an accounting environment

Have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team
Prepared to work overtime if necessary
Committed to achieving deadlines
Attention to detail / accuracy
Be self-driven
Be organised and assertive
Be a logical thinker
Be able to work independently

Responsibilities:

Prepare and capture electronic payments.
Prepare and maintain daily recon of money movement.
Confirm settlement of new clients/receivers.
Processing of monthly cashbook.
Preparing other reconciliations.
Other tasks relevant to the position
