JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Tertiary certificate advantageous)
  • PC literate – above average skills in Excel
  • Good work ethic and strong organisational skills – must get the job done
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Accounting background and understanding of accounting principles and procedures advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Cash book receipts and payments (excel)
  • Receipt into Novtel/ Pastel (debtors’ payments)
  • Invoicing tenants (rental and services)
  • Reconcile debtors/ debt collections
  • Prepare weekly/ monthly debtors report (including upcoming lease expiries)
  • Maintain tenant rental schedule
  • Maintain debtors’ files
  • Handling tenant billing queries (including BCM)
  • Prepare cash flows at month end
  • Prepare schedules for BCM accounts
  • YTD Comparisons (BCM expensing vs invoicing)
  • Prepare BCM service invoicing schedules
  • Processing supplier invoices and reconciling accounts (incl BCM)
  • Prepare creditors invoices for payment runs throughout the month (7th/ month-end etc)
  • Inter-company invoicing
  • Dealing with minor maintenance queries and solving problems
    o Including annual servicing of all equipment (considering lease agreements)
    e.g. Aircons, fire and safety equipment and legal requirements required by insurance in order to comply
  • Sending job cards to contractors
  • Ability to work under pressure (time management is essential)
  • Shared switchboard duty (and lunch/ leave relief
  • Assist with filing, archiving and ad-hoc task
