Financial Accountant - Walmansdal Pretoria North

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12 Senior Certificate
Qualification in Accounting is essential
Fluent in Afrikaans & English
Able to work under pressure
Attention to detail
You will be responsible for preparing accounts, budget and managing financial information
Typical duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Monitoring accounting records and systems to ensure up to date and accurate
Implement and maintain proper financial business processes
Implement and maintain accounting system enhancements
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable staff
Accounts payable bank payments
Prepare various financial reconciliations, calculations and reports
Monitoring spending and budgets
Analysing financial performance
Financial forecasting and risk analysis
Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports, management packs
Review wages calculations and payroll accounting
Maintain fixed asset registers and related processes
Maintain finance lease accounting records and related processes
Input into legal agreements and maintenance of financial components for agreements in place
VAT reconciliations and submissions
Various other financial related tasks – ad hoc and routine
