JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job and Company description:

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a leading manufacturing company with operations across southern Africa. The company has a strong focus on sustainability and is very customer-centric. The incumbent must have more than 2 years’ experience in either manufacturing or FMCG and SAP would be advantageous.

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
Forecast costs and revenues
Manage tax payments
Organize internal audits
Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
Analyze financial trends
Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Com Accounting – Articles advantageous
SAP
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
