SUMMARY:
Graduate Finacial Accountant - Construction Experience essential

POSITION INFO:

To take on reponsibility for the full range of Finacial Accounting and Finacial Management activities in an established, medium sized CIDB 8 CE + Construction Company.

Must have prior expirience working in a formal sector Construction Contracting Company.

All reconciliation’s forming part of business unit responsibility completed, reviewed including assessment of reconciling items
Ensure adequate internal controls are in place at business unit and construction site level
Ensure financial records are accurately maintained
Optimise guarantee facilities
Debtors and Creditors
Short term forecasts complete and accurate, updated on a weekly basis for current week by day and next five weeks by week focusing on debtors receipts, subcontractor payments and sundry in/outflows.
Necessary management reportsadequately and timeously compiled and distributed, significant issues identified, communicated and addressedMonitor and control business unit overheads
Identify areas for cost containment
Working capital cycle optimised
Monitor and control business unit overheads
