Financial Accountant - CA(SA)

SUMMARY:
Multi-national Manufacturing concern, based on the West Rand, has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant - CA(SA) or completed Part 1 of the Board exam, to be responsible for all month-end procedures and processing including submission of reporting kits to one of their companies and GL recons.

POSITION INFO:

Successful incumbent will have a CA(SA) qualification or will have completed Part 1 of the Board exam, with 1-3 years commercial experience in a similar role (preferably within the Manufacturing / Production sector).  KPI''s include: Management of audit process including auditplanning and co-ordination with external auditors; prepare schedules for auditors for PBC list; prepare certain disclosure notes for main AFS (incl related parties, commiments....) and prepare small entities AFS; prepare year-end kits for all companies within SA Group including: intercompany sales, COS and stock; supplementary audit schedules; recalculate YTD royalties and adjust to be in line with contracts; calculate budgets including depreciation; interest; royalties; small companies budgets, submissions of budgets and submission of CAPEX budget; various monthly journals and calculations; prepayments, salaries & wage provisions, accruals, PRMA bonus provisions etc.; month-end KITS including all supporting schedules - ensure all is in balance (interco sales) and various other calculations; review and release bank payments (1st release) and beneficiaries; maintain and update the Cost Centre approver list; assist with cash forecast; assist with Covenants calculations (loans / debt) and involement in the internal audit team (monthly testing); management of 1 Bookkeeper.  Solid Excel skills (vlook-ups; sumif and pivots essential).
