A well-established, macro-lending concern, focusing on the success of entrepreneurs, seeks an experienced and technically strong Accountant to join their dynamic team based in Randburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for preparation of journals, reconcile accounts and prepare management accounts for multiple companies within the group.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Journals
Income statement & general ledger analysis
VAT calculations and recons
Balance sheet recons
Inter-company loan accounts
Management accounts and ad hoc reporting
Cash flow management
Daily bank recons
Stock control
Fixed assets control

Education:

BCom in Finance / Accounting ESSENTIAL

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 to 5 years' experience in a full function accounting role is essential
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is essential
Exposure to SMEs
Xero Accounting experience will be preferred
Ability to take initiative, learn quickly and strive for results
Analytical mind
Financial acumen
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
