A property investment company is seeking a Financial Accountant, company is based in North of Johannesburg, suitable candidate must have SAICA articles for IFRS and Tax.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Completed B. Com Degree in Accounting
Completed SAICA Articles
Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
SAP Non -negotiable
3 to 5 years in a similar role

Skills:

Excel Advanced
SAP – Non negotiable

Job description:

Reporting to the Group Financial Manager.
Responsible for managing all municipal accounts of the buildings we own (expenses and recoveries).
Rental and recovery invoicing monthly.
Follow up on non-payments from tenants.
Liaising with municipalities to resolve queries.
Bank reconciliations (including petty cash)
Supplier invoice capturing
Responsible for month end journals
Responsible to prepare trial balance for the FM in such a format that she can import this into her monthly management pack.
Preparation of VAT for the group companies
Responsible for Petty Cash
Assisting Finance Manager as and when help is needed.
Responsible for 5 group companies (data capturing, invoicing, liasing with property management agents)
Liaising with external auditors during our annual audit.
Responsible to ensure all documents are in order and filed properly online.
Assisting with the conversion of manual filing to digital cloud filing.
