JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job and Company Description:
This is a wonderful opportunity for a newly qualified CA(SA) to join a leading Financial Services company. The incumbent must come from one of the Big 4 Audit Firms and must be well-versed with IFRS. The incumbent must be able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.

As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
Forecast costs and revenues
Manage tax payments
Organize internal audits
Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
Analyse financial trends
Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA)
Auditing clients in the Financial Services industry experience could be advantageous
IFRS
