JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, an NPO social enterprise with a great initiative seeks a dynamic Financial Accountant to join their team. Lovely opportunity for a qualified CA(SA) or similar qualified accountant who enjoys working in a high standard and fast-paced environment, and one that allows you to bring your skill set to a team that supports a great purpose! Lovely smart, dynamic team culture.

Responsibilities

Financial statements and audits
Finance and treasury management
Budgets and forecasts
Contract and procurement management
Full admin function of the accounting system
Managing of core finance team, managing of all team deadlines
Monthly accounts close and roll over including year-end close.
Assist with ad hoc finance projects

Requirements

Minimum of a qualified CA(SA), ACCA or AGA or similar
Minimum of 2 years accounting work experience and previous experience in the NPO/ social impact space, an advantage
Advanced MS Office proficiency and advanced Pastel Accounting proficiency essential, with Caseware an advantage.
Excellent communication skills
Analytical thinker
A good team player with excellent relationship building skills
High attention to detail
