Investment Management team in Cape Town seeks a Financial Accountant to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Investment Management team in Cape Town seeks a Financial Accountant to join their team. You'll be responsible for year end and month end reporting, oversight of annual external audit, as well as being a financial business partner ensuring accurate financial and management accounting reporting is delivered. Working closely with the Financial Manager with the day-to-day finance functions at a group level. Great role that offers good future growth, in a team that values their talent!

Responsibilities:

Financial accounting
Management accounting
Tax and reconciliations
Cash management
Banking and procurement
Debtors and creditors management
Fee calculations

Requirements:

Minimum of completed tertiary qualification accounting/ finance plus articles or newly qualified CIMA or CA(SA) with financial services articles a must!
Ideally a minimum of 2 years financial accounting experience, or strong financial services clients exposure at audit if a new CA(SA) (investment management, fund services etc.)
Strong MS Excel skills
Well organised, diligent and a good team player
Highly numerate and a keen eye for detail
