Description: An all rounded; listed on JSE concern is looking for a well-rounded, analytical and well-spoken Financial Accountant â B.com with Articles.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client is metals recycling plant looking for a financial accountant with completed SAICA articles and an understanding for why recycling is important as part of a sustainable country.

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
Forecast costs and revenues
Manage tax payments
Organize internal audits
Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
Analyze financial trends
Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

B.com with SAICA articles non-negotiable
