Are you an immediately available finance professional who is open to a contract role? If yes, then this role as a Financial Accountant is perfect for you. The organization has a track record of 30 years and is a leading distributor of high-quality consumables and equipment in the healthcare space.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Accountant will be the custodian of all processes relating to the trial balance and supporting the business on the management and financial reporting including tax submissions, annual financial statements, and audit related requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for working capital management, budgets and forecasts, weekly cash flow and compliance.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Accounting
Completed SAICA articles is preferred
Partly qualified CA (SA)
Newly Qualified CA(SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience dealing with financial controls
Working knowledge of SOX and US GAAP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline orientated
Strong analytical skills
