SUMMARY:
Are you a CA(SA) with a peaked interest in the Investment industry and JSE listed entities? Keep reading… Our client is looking for a highly academic and self-motivated individual to join their team as a Financial Accountant responsible for the full accounting function. This individual will receive invaluable training and build a strong skillset in the industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:



Responsible from entire accounting process to preparation of Annual Financial Statements

Processing of payments and trade settlements

Weekly and monthly reporting and Cash flow forecasting

Perform year end and interim procedures

Liaise with auditors

Drafting of market disclosures

Instructing corporate actions for Funds – liaising with analysts for action

Liaison with service providers

Ad-hoc duties to assist fund operations


Skills & Experience:

Fund Accounting experience will be an advantage if you are not a CA(SA)

Working on Financial Services or Investment clients during articles is beneficial

First time Board passes

Strong academic transcripts


Qualification:

Completed SAICA articles and Experience as a Fund Accountant OR

CA(SA) – Can be awaiting Board 2 results
