SUMMARY:
Position available in JHB North for a Financial Accountant with NetSuite experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

  1. Accounting degree
  2. 5 years experience in a management role
  3. Advanced Excel skills
  4. Basic Economics and Accounting principles and practices
  5. IFRS
  6. Knowledge of travel industry a plus

Duties will involve:

  •  Preparation of new fees, including fee increases for clients
  •  Reviewing the monthly calculations performed by the Accountants
  •  Ensuring the accruals are accurate and processed within the month
  •  Effective collection of fees
  • Act as a liason between Operations and Finance divisions
  • Ensure all general ledger reconciliations are up to standard
  • Assist Auditors
  • Give accurate figures to management
  • Staff:Manage a team of 5, train and develop team, provide regular feedback
  • Assist with budgets
  • Ensure all invoices are authorised and paid
  • Report on BEE
