POSITION INFO:

Our client, an accounting and auditing firm based in Hermanus, is looking at employing an experienced Financial Accountant.

Key Performance Areas:

• Experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping.
• Financial statements.
• Debtors and creditors.
• Knowledge of accounting software.
• Stock (count / oversee).
• VIP Payroll.
• Management accounts.

Expertise in basic Accounting and Bookkeeping practices including:

• Standard bookkeeping.
• Attention to detail / accuracy.
• High degree of accountability.
• Basic to proficient Excel and / or Microsoft Office products.

Educational Level:

• Diploma or Degree in the Accounting field essential.

Minimum Experience required:

• Financial Accounting / Bookkeeping: At least 3 to 5 years’ working experience.

Personal Qualities:

• Mature and dependable.
• Adaptable / flexible.
• Detail-orientated.

Area: Hermanus area.

Salary offered: R25 000 to R28 000 per month (depending on experience).

Starting date: As soon as possible.
