A reputable concern in the technology space is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing monthly reconciliations, and preparing or processing journal entries. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the annual budgeting process, reviewing the debtors and creditors ledgers as well as preparing the daily, weekly, monthly financial reports.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Accounting
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles is non-negotiable

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of Caseware is preferred
Confident and assertive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong business acumen
