SUMMARY:
A leader within the agricultural industry is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their seasoned team. it is essential for the ideal candidate to have experience within the agricultural and livestock sector.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

BCOM and Articles
3 years’ experience
Agronomy, farming and livestock experience (essential)
Sage Evolution ERP system experience (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the full accounting function on the farm including general ledger accounts and inventory
Balance sheet reconciliations
Weekly and monthly preparation and financial analysis of management accounting figures
Maintenance of fixed assets register
Maintenance of SARS regulatory requirements
Preparation of annual budget
Preparation of annual budget
Preparation of forecasts
Assist with preparation of management accounts
Monitoring and reviewing of complete vehicle logbooks
compliance
