Financial Accountant

SUMMARY:
A leading brand within the Retail industry is currently seeking the skills of a finance professional to take on the role of the Senior Financial Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Our client who has been in operations for more than a decade is currently seeking the skills of a Finance professional to take on the role of the Senior Financial Accountant. The successful incumbent to be responsible for but not limited to consolidating statements, preparing budget reports, liaising with external auditors and supervising junior accounting staff. Duties:

• Budgets & Forecasts
• Vat & Tax submissions
• Manage journals
• Capex requirements as per management
• Implement accounting systems and processes.
• Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support.
• Analyse and evaluate financial information.
• Manage the full financial process.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance + Honours
• SAICA or SAIPA articles
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Retail / Manufacturing / FMCG industry

Skills:

• Advance Excel Knowledge
• SAP
