My client within the manufacturing sector is seeking a well experienced individual to join their team as a Financial Accountant. They are well established within the industry and has a footprint internationally. Completed SAICA articles is a non-negotiable however this is NOT a CA(SA) position.

My client within the manufacturing sector is seeking a well experienced individual to join their team as a Financial Accountant. They are well established within the industry and has a footprint internationally. Completed SAICA articles is a non-negotiable however this is NOT a CA(SA) position.

Education:

Completed Matric
Completed BCom Accountancy degree

Requirements:

Completed SAICA articles is non-negotiable.
1-2 years’ experience within a similar role.
The position will require travelling to KwaZulu Natal once a month.

Duties and responsibilities amongst others:

Full Accounting function for one of the manufacturing plants.
Preparation of asset, liability, and account entries.
Capture financial transactions.
Preparation of the balance sheet and profit and loss statements.
Maintain accounting controls.
Reconciles financial differences.
Preparation of payments.
Research and interpret accounting policy and regulations.
Preparation of financial reports.
