Financial Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Our client who has been in operations for more than a quarter of a century, has been prospering within the Manufacturing industry seeks the skills of a Finance Professional to join their dynamic finance team as the Financial Accountant. You need to be technically strong minded and have a passion for finance, you will also be responsible for consolidating statements, preparing budget reports, liaising with external auditors and the month end process. Duties:

• Composition of the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Prepare an expense budget report.
• Manage payment processes
• Reconciliations
• Advocating on estimates for project funding
• Generate KPI reports
• Analyse financial records to check for precision.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting + Honours degree
• Must have completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
• 1 – 2 years post articles experience
• Good communication, interpersonal and understanding skills.
• Should have an eye for details

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in excel.
• Netsuite
