A leader in information management and storage in Southern Africa is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.  

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for month end close and related procedures as well as updating and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journal entries. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for internal procedure adherence, FOREX and developing and maintaining financial data bases. The successful candidate will also be responsible for intercompany reconciliations and preparing the annual financial statements.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Honors in Accounting
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 5-6 years’ post article experience in a similar role
• Experience in managing multiple trial balance
• Knowledge of FOREX
• Advanced Excel skills is preferred
• Experience in Sage X3 is preferred
