SUMMARY:
A position has opened up at a Tech based company in Stellenbosch for an experienced and dynamic Financial Accountant. Position allows you to work remotely or have flexible hours.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

  1. Suitable accounting degree
  2. More than 3 years experience in a similar role
  3. Experience with multi-currencies and inter-company consolidations
  4. Experience with ERP/accounting software implementation
  5. Experience in a SaaS industry
  6. Exposure to US GAAP/taxes
  7. Interested in the tech space

Duties:

  • Process payroll
  • VAT, sales tax and income tax returns
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Customer invoices
  • Report on variances
  • Manage audits
  • Financial forecasts
  • Accurate GAAP and non-GAAP financial reporting
  • Capture transactions and month-end reconciliations
