A reputable listed concern is looking for a dynamic and experience Financial Accountant to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and sub ledgers, performing monthly reconciliations, and preparing or processing journal entries. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the annual budgeting process, reviewing the debtors and creditors ledgers as well as preparing the daily, weekly, monthly financial reports. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly management.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Honors in Accounting
• SAICA/SAIPA articles completed

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3-5 years’ post article experience
• Experience in the logistics industry would be preferred
• Working knowledge of IFRS and taxation legislation
• Strong people management skills
• Working knowledge of taxation legislation
• Experience liaising with the internal and external auditors
• Experience with monitoring and controlling CAPEX
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
