A World class company based in Johannesburg is looking for a strong Accountant who can manage the books of a number of branches, that can think out of the box and be creative, to join their team ASAP

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• B.Comm Finance Degree
• Experience in the Retail industry would be advantageous
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong Excel Skills
• Experience in Pastel

Job description:

• Daily Performance overview of the financial operations 
• Creditors, Procurement, Daily Retail Cash Up and Banking
• Fixed Assets Register, Tax Asset Register
• Cashbooks
• VAT reconciliation
• Key Responsibilities Head Office
• Reconciling multiple cash books
• Analytical review of general expenses 
• Reconciling statutory expenses VAT
• Reconciling Fixed Assets Registers with Tax and Book Values
• Overseeing all local and foreign creditors reconciliations and payments
• Monthly general ledger processing up to Trial Balance level
• Creditors control, account reconciliations
• Timeous and Accurate Preparation of monthly Boutique Commercial reports 
• Analytical review of GPs
• Analysis of Boutique weekly stocks counts and Weekly report.
• Overhead expense analysis of Boutique
• Spreadsheets of all Boutique rentals
