SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant is available at our client in Midrand that operates within the Manufacturing.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce degree, or
Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree,

Skills:

Minimum of 4 years of experience, 2 years post articles experience would be ideal

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of monthly intercompany matrix and audit schedules
Proactively evaluating risks and internal controls against changing trends and market/economic conditions
Ensuring that the company complies with relevant laws, regulations and codes of business practice
Ensuring that the financial controls of the company are adequate and maintained
Take full ownership (oversee duties) of the Creditors Clerk and Junior Bookkeepers day to day functions
Reviewing of intercompany transactions, calculating interest on a monthly basis and ensuring that the intercompany balance is zero when needed
Management and preparation of month-end every month
Preparation of budgets by department and for AA & AH Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, TAX returns
