POSITION INFO:

Our client, a company that is part of the logistics industry is currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities;

*  Full responsibility for ensuring accurate financial record keeping.
*  Ensure applicable policies and processes are created, documented, reviewed, signed off, and adhered to.
*  TAX.
*  VAT.
*  Bank Management.
*  Monitor daily cash balances and determine cash requirements needed.
*  Responsible for providing support on the organizational budgeting process applicable to all the entities.
*  Regularly review the overall organizational expenditure to ensure the expenditure of all entities remains within budget.
*  Continued analysis and review of current and new systems.
*  Report on and resolve exceptions caused by system errors.
*  Check and Execute Payments Daily/Weekly/Monthly.
*  Forex Variance Management.
*  Fixed Assets Management.
*  Short Term Insurance.
*  Intercompany Recoveries Management.
*  Managing the year-end, interim, and all month-end processes and reporting.
*  Management of communication of intercompany outstanding values on a group level.
*  Assist in compilation of Group Reports.
*  Managing the external audit process.
*  Support the FM and CFO to deliver strategic initiatives.
*  Various ad hoc tasks.

KEY SKILLS

*  Advanced MS Excel Skills.
*  Knowledge of Transfer Pricing.
*  Knowledge in multi-currency accounting.
*  High attention to detail.
*  Emotional Intelligence.
*  Contributes to building a positive team.
*  Ability to work under own initiative without guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS

*  3  Years’ Experience after articles.
*  BCOM / HONORS.
*  Complete SAICA OR SAIPA Articles.
